My Western Digital 2.1GB came with a disk prep utility that partioned the disk for DOS. I was subsequently able to use Disk Druid to repartition the disk for Linux. If your disk did not=20 come with a partitioning utility, then try setting the CMOS for 1023 cylinders and the corresponding number of heads (16?). Then install Linux. The BIOS should still report the true size to Linux and allow LILO to be installed. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP for Personal Privacy 5.5.3i Comment: What is PGP <http://www.pobox.com/~agreene/pgp/> iQCdAwUBNTxz/0RUP9V4zUMpAQEoDQQ6A4o0DfFSxfTM5lhItAipm1PvHvG9RCyc c5lKcyIsfRVW2K36z7m9lA+zT8LWplFI27EHMwzW70PLpvazKZhwyRAJnyIoJqPm ZNY+6XFu9731OsR4Ziz7CFN8oO9VGSGpptOY/TiJblxIsFNMHGxqNEBRDOcnuo7t srqpWP3VtdLGx5sqfcI9Ew== =Zkgh -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Anthony E.
