This is probably related to a BIOS limitation. Some BIOS's cannot read
large disks. My Western Digital 2.1GB came with a disk prep utility
that partioned the disk for DOS. I was subsequently able to use
Disk Druid to repartition the disk for Linux. If your disk did not=20
come with a partitioning utility, then try setting the CMOS for 1023
cylinders and the corresponding number of heads (16?). Then install
Linux. The BIOS should still report the true size to Linux and allow
LILO to be installed.
