Does anyone know more about JOS? How can it run without a kernel, and what
are they using for a base filesystem? If it is "Java", wouldn't it have to
be based on a minix-like filesystem (vis a vis Linux)? I know this is a
little off-topic, so I welcome replies to me and not the list of you deem
appropriate.
And what's up with ripping apart linux as a "developer's" OS? The distro
companies like Yggdrasil, Caldera, Red Hat, Slackware et. al. have made
exceptional breakthroughs in the last few years to make linux instalation
on a PC quite painless *and* user friendly. Grr.
