I had a serious crash here over the weekend, resulting in me having to
reinstall *everything*.  Now, I find that my ls doesn't show all the
colours it should be.  I tried the solution on the redhat web pages, but
this didn't fix the probem.  System here is RH 4.1 Vanderbuilt.
'Upgrading' to 5.0 is *NOT* an option at this time.

According to the docs, setting alias ls='ls --color=yes' in /etc/bashrc
should have done it.  All that gets colorised is the directories, linked
files, and executables.  Anybody run into this one?
