I'm embarking on my first-ever free-FORTRAN effort, and I'm hoping to give
egcs-g77 a shot, so I got it from contrib/hurricane @ RH ftp.

Should I feel comfortable forcing the egcs install and breaking gcc,
or is there an RPM-packaged version of egcs available that will co-exist
with gcc?
