Hello all... I have just subsribed to the list hoping some kind and knowledgeable soul will be able to help me. I have searched the archives to no avail. I have also posted to the rpm list yesterday but no one answered. Enough history: I have a problem with one of the files in the rpm database. Whenever I try to upgrade or install a package, I get errors due to records not being extractable from /var/lib/rpm/requiredby.rpm I don't understand how this condition could have arisen but I'd really like it solved. I tried a rpm --rebuilddb but it core dumped! Could someone help me solve this problem? Glint doesn't even start either...
