Just did some experimenting lately with Linux wordprocessors.
ApplixWare wp is very nice and includes some filters for importing
older versions of popular Windows wps. down side is you have
to have enough video horsepower to run in 16-bit color mode if
you want a color interface to ApplixWare.
I also got WABI running on my RHL 5.0. This allows me to run
older Windows 3.1 versions of Word Perfect and AmiPro (which
was the premier wp of the Windows 3.1 era IMHO).
