Check out SourceOffSite. It's a client server package what lets
clients on Linux (or Windows) get at its server on Windows which accesses
SourceSafe. The command line client (it has both command line and GUI)
is kinda klunky, which they excuse by saying it's intended for use in
scripts, but it works.

These are the guys that bought out Cyclic Software and are now
doing the commercial support of CVS as well.

Exchange supports imap, imaps, pop3, and pop3s. All should be able
to download the mailbox. Some people I know are even using Fetchmail-SSL
to download from Exchange servers, via SSL encrypted imap, to Linux without
a problem.
