Not that I am aware of... There really isn't any similarity between the two
except for some common philosophies AFAIK.

I'm sure if one sniffed the traffic to the SourceSafe server one could
conceivably write a client for it, but CVS wouldn't be it. Basically CVS is
a server app in itself, and it would seem redundant to keep copies on both a
CVS server and a SourceSafe one. A better analogy would be akin to the
WinCVS front end to CVS does, which is allow Win users to access and use CVS
archives. You'd want to create a Linux/CL/X front end to access and use
SourceSafe archives, I'd think.

I'm sure that doesn't help much, and is long winded to boot. Sorry.... #8^D
