Several of you've requested the makeman script, and I've sent it out. One
note: I haven't spent any time tuning it to the vagaries of the 'ksh' on
Linux 6.x. One of the first things to do in generic--not my--environments
is to add "#!/bin/ksh" as the first line of the script to assure that you
use something like the Korn shell.
I'll actually look at its behavior under Redhat 6.x to see if there are any
tweaks; if enough, I'll offer a "fresh" version.
