A couple of quick questions:

1) When I do an "lpr file1 file2 file3 file4 file5" command, are the files
to be printed immediately loaded into the queue also, or only the command
to print the files? This is important, because I have a program that
accesses a data file, pulls out portions of the data, creates new files
with the new files then being printed, one page per file. The program
then re-does the process. If the files aren't immediately loaded for
print, then I'll have the old print calls reading the new files when it's
their turn to print, when they're supposed to be printing the old data.

2) This program is run from the term display, not X. It uses a menu with
most of the menu items being accessed by pressing on of the Fxx keys, F1,
F2, etc. When I press F1 the screen displays ^[[[A. Is there any way to
suppress this (it's very confusing to the person running the program), or
better still to get the screen to display F1?

Thanks,

Glen
