As for RUNNING on a machine like that, no sweat, just disable
keyboard errors in the system BIOS. A mouse is NEVER needed,
if you are only doing shell stuff (obviously, you aren't going
to be running XWindows on the box... you >CAN< still run XWindows
apps via rlogin, telnet, ssh, rsh, etc.), and unplug the monitor.
Voila, no KVM needed. You can even yank the video card. It IS
possible to do an install on a system without KVM (Keyboard, Video,
Mouse) if you use a kickstart disk, but if you have a single
system to install like this, it might not be worth the effort to
set up. On the other hand, if you do a standard install, with
Keyboard and Video, then remove the keyboard, you have the added
ability to plug in a monitor and keyboard in the future if you
need to get a look at what's happening on the machine (for example,
your networking dies for some reason).

So, my recommendation.... change your BIOS so that it ignores
keyboard errors, then do a normal install however you want the
box configured. When done, simply unplug the keyboard and monitor,
and enjoy (warning! You may/may not need to shutdown to do this...
some keyboard/MB combos can cause a quick arc that can damage the
MB if disconnected while powered up. If you are unsure, or extra
precautious, shutdown/power off before removing the keyboard, remove
it, then simply power up).

Subject: Is it possible?

Dear Friends,

Can we install Linux on a machine without keyboard, Mouse and a Monitor. I
mean I would like to use that PC as a server which when once installed would
not fail bcoz of kbd or mouse misuse. Can disk duplexing be done in Linux?
and how.

Waiting for pointers.

Navinchandra.
