The old Slackware 3.3 version says you can do a minimal
install in 20 meg. However I am sure that will not allow 
for the C++ compilier. Maybe you could use a parrellel
zip drive if you don't need to print. You can down
load the floppies to do the install from
ftp://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackware/slackware-3.3
