Hey Cuz! By the time you spend all the skull sweat doing what you're
wanting to do, and then to have S-L-O-W connect, it would be far far
cheaper to get updated ethernet cards. Or, is this not your machine to
update? Check out PLIP, look in /usr/doc/HOWTO/mini for PLIP
