i found some help on http://www.close.u-net.com/ for installing a pci lt winmodem. also found a nice simple file to run called linux586.zip and have it install the ltmodem.o. one bad thing, the ltmodem.o is for kernel 2.2.12-20. i have 2.2.14-5.0. then, i found another file called ltmodem-0.9.8-1.tar.gz, thought that would help get the modem working. nope, would not compile right. so, what i need to know, is, is there any updated ltmodem.o's out there for the 2.2.14-5.0 kernel, or a newly updated file i can compile to make a ltmodem.o? thank you eric -- To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
