reply to redhat list not always there

Why do most of the mails I get from the list have the reply
to set to refhat-list but not all.  I often realize after
the fact that I have sent the mail to the original sender
and not the list when that was not  my intention.  Can a
promail recipe add the reply to if not there before sending
it to the mail mox i filter the list messages to?
