WP 8 for Linux depends on libc5 which is no longer provided in RH 7.
I have just installed 7.0 on a "spare" machine at work, haven't yet had
time to figure out if I can install the libc5 compatibility stuff from
RH6 onto it and have a snowball's chance of having it work.

In fact it appears to be the same situation for acroread, too, at least
for the one I've got (4.0 from May of 1999).

I wonder if it's possible to change the symlink for libc5 to point to
libc6 and have a snowball's chance of the programs working? If not, does
anybody have/know of a "shim" that presents a libc5-like appearance to
its caller which in turn depends on libc6 ?
