My /etc/sysconfig/network:

NETWORKING=yes
FORWARD_IPV4=no
HOSTNAME=heidegger.mousecar.com
GATEWAY=192.168.1.100
#### ??? GATEWAYDEV=eth0
GATEWAYDEV=ppp0

I've both of the last two entries and, unless I should have done something
more, neither fixed the problem.

Note: heidegger.mousecar.com is the local host I'm having this problem on.
