OK... a follow up question. I thought I had these services turned
off. I went into inetd.conf and commented out finger and ident and
imap. However, when I use Steve Gibson's utility at GRC.COM, it shows
that these services are still open and a threat. Is there someplace else
I need to disable them?
BTW - I've gotten some great response to my previous question. Thanks to
all for the help. I obviously have a lot of reading to do!
