If you think tar is hard to get take a look at cpio It wears me out and I HAVE read
the man help and info pages. I guess I am just dense.
On most of the commands the info command will have addtional help. It is kid of a
pain to get used to but there is a LOT of good information in the info pages.
Usually some examples as well which are woefully middin from a good number if not
most man pages.
