I have a 20 gig hard drive that was in another machine as /dev/hdc with
RH 6.2 installed at hdc3. The drive is now in a Compaq Presario 5000P
series box with ADSL but as /dev/hdb and I want to reinstall RH 6.2 in
the same partition with the new box setup. Unfortunately, the boot disk
I made for the original install on hdc won't work for hdb and the
install cd boots but hangs with a kernel panic error. How can I install
RH 6.2 on this box?
