I have purchased many packages; servers and DeLux from RH. Still with
all the different support alternatives incl. direct phone support - I
was always chased away with the limited support covering RH Install -
they could not even help get KDE working correct. So much for previous
support if they have not improved the last three months.

But disable up2date and everything resembling

What about leaving it and stop automatic start up of rhnsd; - will that
work ???
