Argh.

I've heard the "we can't use ssh" mantra before. It has in evey case I've
seen been borne from ignorance and bad habit.

SSH is superior to telnet in every respect, and whatever you can do with
telnet you can just as easily do with ssh -- save one: you can't easly
sniff passwords out of an ssh session. I guess also that ssh requires more
CPU and marginally more bandwidth, but anyone with a 486 and a 28.8k modem
should not see much difference.

OK, well I am a self-professed ssh-fan, and maybe I do take my hatred of
telnet to extremes, but I still frankly see no good reason for telnet on
my machines, other than as a client tool for debugging servers.
