Core dumps are the sign of a program bug or a mis-matched library.
If you are sure you're using the right library versions, contact the
author of the application and provide a backtrace. They are normally happy
to help fix the problem.
If you have a problem with a program dumping core that RedHat distributes,
you can also find help from various RedHat forums, including this one, if
you can provide some specifics.
