browsing network

Hi guys,       Just installed Redhat 7.2 and I'm trying to get it so I can browse my LAN.  But when I go into konqurer and click the network icon.  It says "could not connect to host: localhost"  well I don't know why it couldn't connect to itself first off.  Secondly I have three other computers on the network and I have a linksys router as the gateway, which handles the ICS.  Anyone have any clues.  Thanks for all the help.       -Mike
