That command won't help you much anyway: # rndc status rndc: 'status' is not yet implemented > i tried removing the include line that calls for /etc/rndc.key > and replacing it with the contents of that file > but that didn't work Hrmm, I don't have a file /etc/rndc.key, my key is in /etc/rndc.conf What version of bind are you running? I have: # rpm -q bind bind-9.1.0-10 Please post your /etc/named.conf, /etc/rndc.conf, log messages from when you started named, and perhaps /etc/rndc.key files. Remove your private key info. I won't be able to look at it until morning, but perhaps someone else will answer before then. - -D - -- pgp key: http://www.tuxfan.homeip.net:8080/pgpkey.txt - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE8LWfweMAUbzJhSVcRAkPfAKCQkW5Sqq3s1P+2ZJ7q+rUrZsvxoACgrAML Wo5k6oMMYqymE+Cgt3P79lQ= =gg54 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
