Eurial, The "firewall product" you are refering to is I assume one of the interfaces that sets up the firewall rules like lokit. The actual firewalling is done in the linux kernel and with the introduction of iptables there is little better. Now how do you setup iptables or the older but still used ipchains? Lots of ways. Many scripts and interfaces have been written to do just this very thing. Try searching freshmeat for firewall and I bet you get more than you want. I still use an ipchians ruleset that I ported over from ipadmin way back that is pretty complicated and would not wish it on a newbie. You might try posting what it is that you are trying to accomplish that cannot be done with the tool that you are currently using (don't forget to name the tool) and see what kind of responses you get.
