If you want a very easy way to install PHP to your apache configuration then download and use Apachetoolbox!  It is very easy to use for the default settings and it will configure everything for you!!  Great program. And it can install other things such as SSL for u as well.  =D
 
Also you can try to download the mod_php rpm file and install that one.  I tried and it didn't work, but I think it might work for some people.

I have apache in my redhat.

current now i need to let my php script to run in the apache
after i put my file in the var/www/html/ folder, in the browser
i call the php page to run, but it shows all the scripts source
code i written and dont run my script.
does any one know how?

2. i downloaded php 4.1.1 in php.net . i try to install it. i
only type ./configure . i wantted to try to make but cant
.then i checked my installed php weather is in the directory
but it dont exist. does any one know how to install step by
step together with apache and php together.?
