Our department is researching wireless hardware and would like to hear from some experienced folks. Our study thus far has revealed the following hardware to work in Windows and Linux. Could I get some comments on this please ?
Linksys Instant Wireless Network Access Point (alone or combo router) Linksys Network PC Card Linksys Wireless PCI Card D-Link Wireless Access Point D-Link Wireless PCI Card D-Link Wireless PC Card Netgear Wireless Access Point Netgear Wireless PCI Card Netgear Wireless PC Card We are also reviewing hardware that will be less than $500.00 per piece. We are going to be operating between 6 -12 clients in each lab. Each lab has CAT5 drops connecting each lab to a FastEthernet. Comments please.
