I have had my printer server running without a hitch for a couple of months
now, but suddnely it stopped printing. When I load up printtool, everything
seems fine, lpd will restart without complaint when requested. However, when
I try to print a test page it declares that there was an error trying to
print the test page. I thought that the problem might be that the printcap
file or some such had become corrupted, so I removed and rebuilt the
configuration, but no luck. I have tried the standard bjc-600 driver (it is
a bjc-4300), the omni driver and the std driver with exactly the same
results.

Can someone suggest any other things that I can look at to try to get my
printer working again?
