I just threw all the KDE files into a folder and did a rpm -iUvh *.rpm --nodeps --force and it works like a charm. :)

Is there an option for rpm to automatically resolve and install any dependencies that might be needed? I want to install KDE from the installtion cd but, while all of the necessary libraries et al are obviously present, a simple "rpm -i kde-base" just lists a ton dependancies. So is there an option for rpm to grab all those needed files from the cds, or do I have to hunt around install them manually? thanks, Caleb _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list _______________________________________________ Redhat-list mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
