Does anyone know how I could monitor the utilization of the SCSI or IDE bus? I know vmstat can show some information, but that seems to group all block level devices into one figure, which would be fine as long as I wasnt using more than one controller in the machine. If I am using both SCSI and IDE in a server I would like to know the IO usage per controller.
I am not sure if vmstat is what I want or how to guage my controller's max performance so I can determine relative usage.
