Hi, I am using Mozilla 1.0 with java plugins. I actually have Java SDK 1.4 since I was developing some things with java, and use the plugins there. When I viewed some java applet using Mozilla, processes called java_vm was run. When I close the applet and continue browsing, the process java_vm is still running.
A while after I close the applet, java_vm is still running. And if I do "top", I can see it takes a significant amount of %CPU and %MEM. Is this normal at all? When I "killall java_vm", my Mozilla exits (either crash or exit, I am not sure). Weird.... So has anyone ever experienced the same? Any help or comment would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
