If you want the "no-rewind" device, else /dev/st0. If you want to keep adding incremental backups to the end of one tape, you use the nst0, otherwise you'd end up with just the last backup on the tape. Usually, when tape devices get created, both the regular and the no-rewind devices get made. -- *************************************************** .~.
