Hi there, I had some problems with version 7.3 because it wouldn't support:
a) my Surecom EP-320X-S1 Ethernet card b) my sound blaster audigy player card and c) my SMC PCI wireless LAN card I now want to try 8.0 to see if I have better luck. Everything else on my x86 system seemed to work fine, the sound card and LAN adapters are kind of important though. With the surecom card, it had drivers for Linux but they were for an older kernel and they wouldn't compile under 7.3. As I was following a step by step guide from a text file and have no clue on how the Linux kernel (or any unix) handles drivers, I was kind of lost. There seems to be no support for my audigy card. at all. I haven't tried looking for support for my wireless card, but thats not as important as the soundcard and the surecom LAN card. any help on getting any of these cards to work under 8.0 would be much appreciated!!
