Hello Linux Users, I've just installed a Red-Hat 5 system and tring out my new linux box and modem... I'm a newbye in PPP and dial-up, so probably I only need good pointers to FAQ or doc. The ppp scripts are all working ok but... I've a dynamic assigned IP by my ISP and I'm wondering about the Reply-To field of the messages I send, that's all come out with my localhost names..., ([EMAIL PROTECTED], etc.) what I've to do for changing this into my real e-mail address? I've figured out that no one - except netscape! - mail client is able to do this: so I think i've to deal with sendmail and company, but really i've not idea how... (I think netscape bypass the sendmail agent) I think also this is one of the most asked questions, but nor in the ppp-howto, nag or ppp-tips I've found mention on how to solve this problem... perhaps i've to look for in another place? If you have some simple exemples... Many Thanks fede p.s. sorry for my bad english, my excuses. Semper Voster [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tel. +39/2/89.12.65.76 Home Tel. +39/2/89.51.43.52 Parents Via W.
