Our pppd have started to do this:
May 7 13:57:37 sleipner pppd[10721]: pppd 2.2.0 (Nov 3 1997) started by
a_ppp, uid 0
May 7 13:57:37 sleipner pppd[10721]: ioctl(TIOCSETD): Out of memory
May 7 13:57:37 sleipner pppd[10721]: ioctl(PPPIOCGDEBUG): Invalid
argument
May 7 13:57:37 sleipner pppd[10721]: Exit.
/etc/ppp/options look like this:
-detach
194.192.207.2:
crtscts
lock
netmask 255.255.255.192
modem
domain netcetera.dk
name sleipner
asyncmap 0
proxyarp
-defaultroute
silent
and then a /etc/ppp/options.tty.Cx for every serialline with a ip number.
we returns the error with and without any parameters on the command line.
[root@sleipner ask]# rpm -q ppp
ppp-2.2.0f-3
