Hello All!
I just upgraded from RH5.0 to 5.1 and got a problem. Whenever I connect to
ISP, my local host name is changed. For instance, originally my local host
name is "localhost", but after I connect to ISP, my local host name becomes
DIAL8-ASYNC44.DIAL.NET.NYU.EDU. The numbers(8 and 44) are different every
time. I guess this is my host name during connection, but even if I
disconnect from ISP, it remains. It never happened while I was using
RH5.0. I posted this problem, but I could not get any help and I still
can't solve the problem. Please somebody teach me how to fix the problem.
Or if there is any other place to ask the question, or there is a document
for this problem (I read PPP HOWTO), please tell me about it.
