I'm using a ZyXel Elite ISDN TA and through this list discovered that
in certain kernels and ppp versions the ISDN support is broken. I'm
currently using kernel 2.0.32-2 and ppp version 2.2.0f-5. Since your
TA is almost identical to mine unless you have some other weird
problem this combination should work for you as well.
Even multi-link works with this ocmbination which I was unable to get
working under other versions. :)
BTW make sure you have the latest ROM updates to your ZyXel TA they
put out new versions quite frequently with bugfixes and that also
makes a difference.
Good luck.
