When I start my ppp0 interface through netcfg in X, my modem dials and seems to connect, but in about 15 seconds, it dials again. Then I tried a script, and I get "NO CARRIER", and the same thing with Minicom. When I shutdown and reboot into Windows, I can dial in fine and connect. I tried with not only one but two ISPs, so it is my Linux side. Does anyone have insight on this? I have a Hayes Accura KFlex/v.90 internal non-pnp modem, /dev/cua1 (COM2, IRQ3). I bought this just for Linux since my MWave card won't work.
