That's all. My date was young, intelligent, beautiful, and nice. I should not have let my recent animosity toward Manny spill over onto her. My hearing impairment the frustration of a loud restaurant combined to put me a bad mood when I wrote that e-mail. And, I was feeling weird about dating someone so young. Again, my problem and nothing to do with race. So, that's my lame explanation, though true. It's my problem if I can't hear well and don't understand a given dialect. I was wrong to write what I did and I'm both embarrassed and humbled by this.
