But it does, in part. With Brady, the Pats' offense had the ball more
often, keeping the other team's offense off the field. They also
scored so many points so early in games that the opponents would
become one-dimensional and easier to defend.

That said, the defense is old, didn't do anything to replace its best
CB and the ballyhooed defensive line doesn't pressure QBs, which
should really be its first job.
