The Rays are younger and getting better. (29 years old is peak)

The Sox are pretty young: Pedroia, Youk, Elsbury, Lowrie, Delcarman, Pap,
are all home grown.

The Sox also have the money to fill in the blank spots.  For example, we can
afford to pay top dollar for a new catcher.

So it's going to be tough in our division.  But that isn't new.
