I know we'll all obsess over what a black hole Varitek has been at the plate. And he has been brutal. But we really don't expect that much production from him. A much bigger villain has been Ortiz, whose only job is to produce and apart from one at-bat Thursday night provided absolutely nothing in the postseason.
