Tito obviously manages differently in the post season.  It works like this:

1. Starter as long as he can go
2. Oki
3. Masterson
4. Pap

That's it.  Delcarman, Timlin, and the rest are relegated to mop up or long
relief duties.

This was obviously not his strategy during the season when he used a much
wider variety of pitchers in close games and obviously held pitchers to a
pitch count.

As to offense, what can you do?  You make a lineup and run with it.  I would
have pinch hit for Tek in his final two at bats and played Lowrie over
Cora.  But the rest of the situation was dictated by circumstances.

As I've said (many times) there really is no strategy in baseball.  The game
dictates the actions more so than any other major sport.
