Well, it's not random.  But the correlation is poor, especially when compared 
to team OPS.

                        I think it's just more evidence that batting average is 
a useless number.  It's like trying to measure weight with a ruler.  You can 
guess based on the result but you can be easily fooled.
                       
                        This Sox are doing OK with OPS.  Two Sox are in the top

strikes me more than anything is that there are no Sox players in the top ten
