And the Sox are only five games back in the AILC (all-important loss column). I 
wouldn't rate their chances of overtaking New York that high, but it could 
happen. I'd love for the Sox to go into the Bronx three or four back in the 
loss column, just to see if they can make the weekend interesting. But even if 
they don't, the wild card berth is basically assured at this point.

I think we have a better chance of catching the Yankees than the Rangers have 
of catching us.  We're only 6 games back vs. 7.  We're a better team than the 
Rangers.  And we have 3 head-to-head games against the Yankees.
