well put.  It raises a question I've been pondering as I indoctrinate my 2-year 
old daughter into Red Sox Nation.  Who on this team is worthy of being her 
"favorite" player?  I was the biggest Manny critic when he didnkt hustle and 
drummed up injuries, but he was entertaining and fun to watch.

I remember 2 WS wins that would not have happened without him. I remember the 
clown that he is and the entertainment that he brought. I like him better than 
Roger because he never pretended to be anyone but who he is. At least he's an
