We were flat.  You know I'm not a numbers guy, but rather a feeling guy.  I 
felt they were flat.

Yeah, you're right, I don't mean to take anything away from Lackey.  He was 
good.  I just think we made him look better than he really is last night.  On 
the season the guy has a 1.27 WHIP, 3.83 ERA and a .263 BAA.  Good numbers, but 
remember that he's pitching a lot of those games against the depths of the AL 
West.  For the game last night he was 0.67 WHIP, 0.0 ERA and .153 BAA.  You 
would think an offense like ours should be able to produce at least average 
numbers against him.  

In general I just feel like our bats are not producing.  Plus I knew I would 
get a rise out of you if I mentioned anything about momentum, streaks or trends.

Big game tonight - I'm glad to know Beckett is taking the ball.
