Agreed. The "who wins" stat simply shows that the playoffs is a crapshoot. Any team that makes it can win.
Here's the teams that made the playoffs in the past ten years in the AL (I don't care about the NL. There. I said it.) Pretty much looks like the same names. I wonder who'll be in the playoffs next year? Of course the problem is even worse in the AL East. I wonder who'll win the division and the wildcard?
