I've always liked Max Ramirez. His minor league career has been almost a
carbon copy of Victor Martinez's -- he crushed the ball at every level
(struggled some last year, but I think he was fighting an injury), with good
patience, but there are questions about his defense.

I don't want to have to watch another year of Lowell trying to stretch a
double into a single.
